Twenty years of US war on terror in the eyes of Afghans

“I hate the US military. They killed 10 innocent members of my family.”

Afghan Emal Ahmadi made the remarks in a recent interview the China Media Group. Ten days ago, ten members of Emal’s family, including seven children, were killed in a US airstrike on a residential area in the capital, Kabul.

Twenty years ago, on September 11, 2001, there was a serious terrorist attack in the United States. The United States has since invaded Afghanistan in the name of counterterrorism. In 20 years, the war has killed more than 30,000 Afghans and injured 60,000. Similarly, 1 crore 10 lakh people become homeless.

The question of the people is: Does military and power intervention have a positive effect on problem against terrorism or not?
