The Secretary of the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation has directed to make a long-term plan to improve the service flow of Land Reform Land Revenue Offices

 

 

Secretary at the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Ganesh Prasad Pandey has directed to make necessary long-term plan to improve the service flow of Land Reform Land Revenue Offices. He also directed to make a long-term plan for the improvement of physical infrastructure as some of the offices are still in a state of disrepair.

Speaking at the Bagmati State level annual progress review and interaction program organized by the Department of Land Management and Records in Dhulikhel, Kavre for two days on Friday and Saturday, Secretary Pandey said that people working in the field of land administration should be very sensitive as people love property more than children.

Speaking on the occasion, Director General of the Department of Land Management and Records Shesh Narayan Poudel said that the department was ready to further improve the land administration by formulating a land administration reform project. Poudel instructed the office heads to create an environment where the work of land administration can be done only using information technology.

Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, TolrajUpadhyaya, said that the scattered laws related to land administration should be documented and a circular was needed. Another Deputy Secretary at Ministry, Ram Kumar Sapkota, said that it is necessary to inform the service recipients about the information technology-based programs launched by the government in the field of land administration.

Director of the department Roshan Shankar Ghimire, GurudattaSubedi, SumanaAryal and others were present in the office. The heads of the Land Reform/Land Revenue Offices of Bagmati Pradesh presented the annual report at the program. There are 23 Land Reform/Land Revenue Offices in Bagmati.
