Meeting of the ruling coalition in Baluwatar to expand the Council of Ministers, MCC project and make the current parliament effective

The meeting of the ruling coalition is still being held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar today.

The meeting discussed the expansion of the Council of Ministers, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) project and how to make the current parliament effective. After Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba expressed the view that the cabinet should be completed soon, the leaders said that they had agreed to complete it within a day or two. Even two months after the formation of the government, the Council of Ministers has not been able to complete its work, which has put pressure on the coalition.

A meeting of the coalition held on Thursday evening reviewed the current political situation in the country.
