The fifth ethnic conference since the founding of New China is scheduled for August 27-28.
At the conference, Chinese President Xi Jinping briefed the Chinese Communist Party on plans to improve ethnic relations.
According to him, the 56 ethnic groups in China are all Chinese people. These 56 ethnic groups must go hand in hand to build a modern and prosperous China.
