Janata Samajwadi Party will join the government within a week

Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal Upendra Yadav has said that he will join the government within a week. At a press conference held at the District Party Office at Biratnagar-14 today, he informed that the ministries would be distributed on the basis of mutual agreement between the coalition parties.

Stating that the act of bringing an ordinance by ending the sovereign parliament was wrong and deadly, Yadav said that such an act would create political instability in the country. Stating that the public opinion is ready to rectify the flaws in the current constitution, he expressed the view that the constitution would be amended on the basis of mutual consent among the political parties.

In response to a question from a journalist, Chairman Yadav claimed that the party led by Mahantha Thakur could not join the government as it was not in the current alliance. Stating that the current democratic alliance will remain as long as there is a threat of regression, he said that his party would actively work for the institutionalization and strengthening of the federal democratic republic.

Explaining that the party has joined the alliance to save the parliament, Yadav said that the alliance would hold the next election. Talking about the split and unification of parties in the multi-party system, he expressed the view that the Janata Samajwadi Party is the center of all socialists.
