Power generation has started from 5 units of Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project. Project Chief Bigyan Shrestha said that power generation has started from 5 units of the project at Gogar in Bigu Gaunpalika Ward No. 1 of Dolakha.
The project has stated that 38 MW of electricity has been connected to the national transmission line after the start of power generation from all the 5 units of the project under construction with domestic investment. 360 MW power is generated from 5 units at 76-76 per unit.
According to the project’s goal of generating electricity at full capacity from all the units by Bhadra, 456 MW of electricity will be generated from all the units and connected to the national transmission line.
