The artists have argued Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to help in reviving the stalled film industry due to Corona. At a program organized by the Nepal Cultural Association at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar, the representatives of the association urged to bring special relief programs for the art sector and artists affected by Covid 19. Artists have demanded that the government help restore the film industry to its former glory as the film industry has collapsed due to long-standing bans, cinema halls have been closed for a long time and artists have become jobless.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Deuba said that the government would soon provide vaccinations to the artists who are the jewels of the country. Prime Minister Deuba has also expressed the government's commitment to support the Corona-affected film sector. The program was attended by various artists and writers including the president of the association Tirtha Thapa.
