President Bidhya Devi Bhandari is confident that strong unity within social diversity will contribute to strengthening the national spirit.
Expressing best wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity and longevity to Nepali Muslims on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha (Bakar Eid), the great festival of the Muslim community, she said that such festivals would be celebrated by exchanging happiness, harmony and good wishes. She said that the medium would preserve and promote the original culture and traditions of different castes and communities as well as enhance mutual harmony, tolerance and harmony among the ethnic, religious and cultural diversity.
She urged the people to observe the festival with caution following the rules of prohibition to avoid the global epidemic of COVID-19 as geographical, ethnic and cultural diversity is the fundamental identity of Nepali society.
President Bhandari wished that the festival would inspire all Nepalese to build a civilized, civilized and progressive society that enhances mutual harmony and tolerance.
