BP highway blocked due to flowing mud

The BP highway has been blocked due to mudslide in Roshi village municipality ward no. 12. According to District Police Chief SP Bhupendra Bahadur Khatri, vehicles heading to the eastern district and coming to Kathmandu got stuck on the highway due to the flood and mudslide in the river.

Police said that the passengers were kept in a safe place even though three vehicles got stuck in the mudslide. Chairman of Roshi Village Municipality Dal Bahadur (DB) Lama said that some difficulties were being faced due to continuous rains and rising river level.

It has been revealed that mudslide, who came from the crusher industry in Namobuddha-5, Laskot, also obstructed the highway. Meanwhile, in Dhulikhel-11, Faskot, after the back wall of a house collapsed, 3 houses were in danger, Dhulikhel-based Kalijung battalion army and police team shifted to a safe place, police said.
