Chinese Superior Traditional Culture is the basis of Chinese Ethnic Culture since the Eighteenth General Congress of the Communist Party of China, President Xi Jinping has presented a series of important views on the promotion of Chinese Superior traditional culture. 
Ahead of this year’s Spring Festival, President Xi inspected the Meow ethnic habitat in the mountainous region of Kweichow Province and praised the local handicrafts costumes. Meow handicrafts are considered to be one of the finest embroidery art in the world. Currently, the meow ethnic embroidery business has created employment for about 500,000 women in the Kweichow Province, and meow embroidery products are sold in more than 60 countries and regions.
In response, President Xi urged local residents to expand meow embroidery. He said: It is traditional but fashionable. It is not only culture but also business. Meow embroidery can not only promote ethnic culture but also help alleviate poverty.
