Nepal is competing with Australia in the final match of FIFA World Cup 2022 and Asian 2023 second round election today.
Nepal will play with Australia at the Jabber Al Ahmed International Stadium in Kuwait City. The match between Powerhouse Australia and Nepal of Asian football will start at 9:45 pm Nepali time.
Nepal is entering the field today with the hope of victory. Australia, which has played five World Cups, want to reach the third round of the World Cup by defeating Nepal. Australia are top of Group B with 18 points. Nepal is in the fourth place. Nepal has added 6 points.
Nepal has lost its chance to reach the third round of the World Cup qualifiers. But the possibility of reaching third round of Asian Cup selection through Nepal play-off remains. Nepal had defeated Chinese Taipei 2-0 in the ongoing selection in Kuwait. However, Nepal lost 3-0 to Jordan.
Nepal had lost 5-0 to Australia in the previous match.
