Demand for immediate implementation of the policy of providing loan of Rs. 2.5 million on the security of educational certificate

The All-Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU) has demanded the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel to immediately implement the policy of providing loan of Rs2.5 million by pledging educational certificates.

Ain Mahar, chairperson of ANNFSU, handed over a seven-point memorandum to Minister Poudel on Tuesday, including the procedure for the program, Rs80,000 for students to buy laptops and free sim cards.

Minister Poudel expressed the commitment of the government to implement the programs included in the budget as soon as possible.

The government had announced to get loan of Rs2.5 million by pledging educational certificates through this year’s budget.
