Alibaba Group is looking for pornography tipsters with 1,000 yuan ($156) bonus for successful candidates, according to a recruitment notice reportedly from the company.
The notice, issued by Alibaba Security department, outlined that the candidates will be responsible for marking and reviewing videos and pictures and other multimedia content on the platform, and submitted their work at the end of the day, the notice said, posted by a media account Zealer of up to 2.6 million followers on China’s Sina Weibo.
Successful candidates must be healthy and disciplined, have watched a lot of films and have a well understanding of platform rules. They must also hold a driver’s license and a good safety record.
Successful candidates will be paid a 1,000 yuan meal allowance per day, a 1-terabyte hard disk, one year membership for cloud disk, a travel fee package, and afternoon tea treatment with unlimited supply, according to Zealer.
The notice has received hundreds of comments and reposting as of press time, with many showing their interest in the job.
“It’s really not about money, but making contribution for keeping the internet a clean and safe place [for minors],” one netizen said.
Alibaba did not respond to the Global Times request for comment as of press time.
