China’s tourism sees a ‘bang’ during May Day holiday, with 230 million trips being reported

China’s tourism sector saw a bang during the 5-day May Day holiday, with a total of 230 million trips being reported, reaching pre-pandemic levels. Tourism revenue during the holiday hit 113.23 billion yuan ($17.49 billion), said Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
