China summons 13 internet firms with financial business, vowing to strengthen anti-monopoly supervision

China’s financial regulators held talks with representatives of 13 internet firms which have a fintech business, including Tencent, Du Xiaoman Finance owned by Baidu, JD Finance, and ByteDance to strengthen anti-monopoly supervision and prevent the disorderly expansion of capital.
