More than 300 companies including Boeing will attend the Zhuhai airshow, the organizers said on their official WeChat account on Saturday.
The 13th Airshow China, originally scheduled for November 2020, but postponed until 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held from September 28 to October 3, according to the Organizing Committee of China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition.
Up to now, more than 300 corporate representatives from Russia, France, the US, Brazil, Australia and Mexico have confirmed that they will participate in the exhibition.
In addition to large domestic aerospace and electronics companies, internationally-recognized companies such as Boeing, Embraer, GE Aviation and Honeywell have confirmed that they will participate in the exhibition. What’s more, some companies have further expanded their exhibition areas compared to the previous air show.
The Chinese air force’s August 1 Aerobatic Team and the Red Eagle Aerobatic Team from the Aviation University of the PLA Air Force will attend the fair, and the organizers are also actively coordinating with foreign military aerobatic teams to attend it.
In addition, the organizers will also strive to invite the latest models celebrating the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China to the show.
The indoor exhibition area of the air show is 100,000 square meters, and nearly 80,000 square meters have already been booked, accounting for 80 percent of the total planned area. The outdoor exhibition area will reach 360,000 square meters.
