Three books entitled Asmita, Aama and Sharap Mochan were launched today amidst a programme at the Nepal Academy Hall.
Aama is written by journalist Rajan Karki, Asmita by Dr. RK Dahal and Sarap Mochan by Jib Raj Bhattarai. The books are published by Ratnasagar Publication Pvt. Ltd.
Dr. Prem Singh Basnet, a historian, reviewed the book entitled Aama dwells on the values of mother and motherland and it can fire one’s enthusiasm to work for the motherland.
Penned by journalist Karki, Aama describes the importance of mother and motherland in a person’s life and it motivates the reader to work for one’s motherland as the mother and motherland are, according to the Sanskrit saying, greater than heaven.
He said the book makes it clear that a country can progress only when its citizens work honestly for the country.
Dr. Jib Raj Pokharel, an architect by profession, viewed that the book entitled Ashmita presents the records of the upheavals that arose after the dissolution of the parliament in the past.
Reviewing the book, he said Ashmita is fascinating as it reflects on the political situation in the aftermath of parliament dissolution in the past, which is also comparable to the present time.
Likewise, Dr. Surendra KC, a historian, reviewed the book entitled Sarap Mochan and said that the book denounces the culture of nepotism that is prevalent in the country. How nepotism has hindered development of Nepal has been described in a logical way in the book, Dr. KC viewed. The Rising Nepal
