Speaker of the dissolved House of Representatives Agni Prasad Sapkota and leaders of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) met today.
During the meeting with Speaker Sapkota, was pressured to convene a meeting of the parliament with the conclusion that the constitution does not give the right to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to dissolve the parliament, said JSP leader Biswadeep Pandey.
Urging the Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota by the JSP leaders Baburam Bhattarai, Upendra Yadav, Laxman Lal Karna at Singh Darbar to convene a meeting with the conclusion that the parliament is still alive as the constitution does not give the right to Prime Minister to dissolve the House of Representatives, Pandey said.
As he is in consultation with various bodies and experts, steps will be taken on the basis of discussions, said Sapkota’s secretariat.
