The Prime Minister expressed “The world is facing hard time and lots of people lost their lives and infected from COVID 19. Nepal is also combating against this pandemic, the difficulties of the people I could understand because I stayed isolated in the jail long time. If we fail to prevent, it will bring disaster. So I request all the people to cooperate the government. The health workers are doing hard work we should respect them. The international organization and federal systems also appreciated.
We are in second stage of this virus. We are following 3 steps to combat against this pandemic. CCMC (the Corona Crisis Management Centre), Doctors and Security forces are doing great jobs in this pandemic. We only not focus on pandemic, we provide foods to poor people also. Government is preparing to stop the spreading of virus and focusing on the treatment at the same time.
Rapid detective test is doing in virus spreading district is running. Medical equipment is collecting to provide health workers. The foreign return Nepalese should contact health officials for their own health and your family. We also cooperate with Indian government to quarantine in the border and after the quarantine we check their health and only then permitted to return.
We also care the Nepalese who resides abroad. Foreign ministry also upto date with our people. Nepal government is caring foreigner in Nepal so Foreign government should care our people. Rapid detection test kit will help us to find infected persons rapidly and in short period. We mobilized health workers to find, detect and treat the people, who infected by the Covid 19. The government provides relief to the poor people.
We are trying to continue the agricultural sector. Peoples help is important to quarantine the virus in limited number. We also allocate the allowance to the related member, who fights against this pandemic. I request the people not to go against the government at this hard time, following the rules we will defeat this battle.
The pandemic troubled the developed countries so we also feel difficulties in this time. Health equipments are in shortage and difficulties to collect and bring. The government should be transparent and responsible but accuse without any prove will demolish the people who are fighting against it. The history will see what we did and what we have done in this hard time. The information carried by the press is the matter of appreciation. Social distance is only medicine to defeat this pandemic.
I understand that the lockdown has caused inconvenience, but this is the need of the hour to fight this disease, which has become a global problem. I urge all Nepalese people to support and show solidarity with the government’s efforts. The coming two weeks will be very crucial in our fight against the coronavirus.
Nepal suffered lots of problems in the history and raise again is our nature, we will rise again from this pandemic as well. The government assures to provide every facility to Nepalese people after the victory against this pandemic.”
