The number of COVID-19 cases in the United States surpassed 9,300 by 10:30 pm local time on Wednesday (0230 GMT Thursday), according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
The fresh figure stood at 9,345, an increase of around 2,000 in 9 hours. A total of 150 deaths have been reported, according to the CSSE.
