Visit to Indo-China border Nathulaisit Indo-China border Nathula

The General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command,Lieutenant General, Anil Chauhan has visit Indo-China border Nathula today. He had started his journey today morning 8:30 am form 17 Mountain Division Head Quarter Libing helipad Gangtok in Chopper. He had interact with Indian Army Soldiers on Ground and He was briefed on the security situation & preparedness by the commanders on ground. He has backed to Gangtok by road and reached Head Quarter at 3:40 PM. In the evening he has attended a meeting with Ex Army members there were 30 members of Ex Army representatives were presence in the meeting form all four districts of Sikkim. He has discuses in various issues related Pension and CSD (The Canteen Stores Department, (CSD), is a solely owned Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Defence and has its depot in all major military bases operated by the Indian Armed Forces.) with ex-servicemen. After forty minutes long meeting with ex-servicemen he interact with 100 members newly sifted Sikkim Scouts team. Sikkim Scouts who are taking over charge of 17 Mountain Division Head Quarter in Libing Gangtok.
In the other hand on 28th January 2020 Lieutenant General; Anil Chauhan has visited in North Sikkim Indo-China Border area in Kerang. He had an interaction programme with Soldiers of Rajput Regiment in Battalion Bunker. He was landed in Chaten Helipad Heliport in Lachen, North Sikkim. He visited field formations & units in North Sikkim . He was briefed on the security situation. He is here in Sikkim three days long official visit. Tomorrow on 30th January he will leaving to Kolkata,Eastern Command Head Quarter.
