Dr Gobinda KC, who was staging fast onto death in Dadeldhura, has ended his 17th fast onto death stating that the first duty of the citizens is to save borders of the nation, therefore, at a time when the nation is facing difficulty, he has ended the hunger strike.
Organising a press conference today, Dr KC drank juice from a four-year-old Srinas Jairu of Amargadhi, Dadeldhura and ended his fast onto death on the ninth day.
KC, however, has warned that he has ended fast onto death for the time being and anytime in future, he can stage fast onto death.
Dr KC is staging fast onto death demanding end of anomalies in the health sector.
After ending fast onto death, Dr KC has written a letter to Indian PM Narendra Modi urging him to return Kalapani area to Nepal and amend the political map released by India.
