Nepal, India to hold secretary level talks on Kalapani dispute

A foreign secretary level talks has been proposed to resolve the Kalapani dispute between Nepal and India, according to the Foreign Ministry.

Immediately after the visit of Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid, the meeting date will be fixed.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had called an all-party meeting on Saturday. The meeting concluded with a national consensus that the Kalapani, Limpuyadhara and Lipulek are the Nepali territory. The meeting advised to the PM to resolve the present border dispute through a diplomatic dialogue.

Nationwide demonstrations are taking place against Indian after India released its new political map incorporating Kalapani area.
