Has Nepal recognized Tibet as an independent country?

Chinese President Xi Jinping recently arrived on a state visit in Nepal few weeks ago. During the visit of Xi, many issues related to political and development as well as relations between the two countries were discussed and negotiated. On that occasion, the Prime Minister of Nepal, as well as the Leader of the Opposition were strongly committed to One China Policy and repeated the implementation the policy strongly.

On the one hand, the country’s prime ministers, ministers, and leaders of all political parties are taking a stand for the One China Policy, while on the other hand the respective officials of the Nepal government are recognizing China’s autonomous Tibet as an independent country. The Nepalese government of immigration has permitted the illegal passport issued by the Democratic Republic of Tibet to the free Tibet activists, who lives in Nepal, entering Nepal illegally from Tibet, and countries including the US, India. Tibet’s isn’t recognized as an independent country and to give such permission means to oppose China officially. Has Nepal recognized Tibet as an independent country?

It is now common to conduct Free Tibet Movements/ Activities on a regular basis residing in Nepalese land. Not a week after the Chinese president returned from a state visit to Nepal, Ling Rimporchhe, known as the right-hand of the Dalai Lama, arrived in Nepal from Kathmandu’s only one international airport. He was warmly welcomed by Free Tibet Activists infront of the security officials there. Outside of at the airport hotel, he was also welcomed. There were two big events where Rimporchhe participated. He then participated in the worship and public events organized by TYC in the monastery on the hill of Swayambhu. After this, Rimporchhe went Tashi Rabten Gumba, Pharping and participated in the two-day event. Meanwhile, some media also published news on this issue. However, the Government of Nepal did not respond and did not take any initiative to restrict free Tibet activities in the open.

Given permission the passport issued by the CTA, preserving and protecting the activities of the so-called independent Tibetan government in the country’s capital, it’s becoming a topic of common interest. On the one hand, including the Prime Minister Nepal are repeatedly took stand of One China Policy, against the commitment of the Prime Minister and the leaders of all political parties, under whose direction are such activities taking place? Naturally, curiosity is aroused. Are there government officials who are committing such a heinous crime to show leaders including the Prime Minister are anti-China for gaining personal benefit by making the country unstable in chaos? The government and the concerned parties must be serious in this situation. The Chinese president threats decently to stop the activities against China otherwise break the bones of those who did so, is Nepal ignoring the decent threats of Xi to challenge China to help the Anti China Activists? In such a hurry, it’s not believable that the government does this. Anyway the government needs to be serious about this.
