Cabinet reshuffle after 30 November elections

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has wished to reshuffle his cabinet for a long time. In July, the PM had tried to reshuffle the cabinet but co-chairman Pushpakamal Dahal created obstacle on the PM’s initiative. Again, immediately after the Dasain festival, Oli had attempted to reshuffle the cabinet. This time also, Dahal performed non-cooperation. Now, the PM has reached to the conclusion that immediately after the by-elections on 30 November, he will be reshuffling the cabinet.

According to a highly placed source, PM Oli has planned to undergo for second kidney transplant operation in Singapore after reshuffle of the cabinet. DPM Ishwor Pokhrel will look after the PM’s portfolio during Oli’s absence here.

Accordingly, the party affairs will be looked after by co-chairman Dahal, the source said.

The PM is also going to change officials in his secretariat, therefore, he has demanded resignation of all the members in his secretariat, the source said.
