The Nepal Chamber has objected on the arrest of director of the Jyoti Group Dr Roop Jyoti and his daughter Suruchi.
Kailashkumar Bajimaya, director general of the Chamber issuing a statement, has stated that the Chamber is seriously concerned from the arrest of such a personality who has contributed for a long time for industrialization of Nepal.
Bajimaya has stated that the issue of the arrest on the basis of a complaint without confirmation of committing any crime, while returning from abroad has seriously hurt the private sector.
Such attempt of humiliation against those who have tremendously contributed in the revenue sector of the nation will not only discourage the private sector but also will have negative effect while building investment friendly environment.
The Chamber has requests to the concern sectors for respectable treatment to the private sector entrepreneurs.
