Kathmandu, 14 October: Dr Govinda KC got retirement from the TU Teaching Hospital after completion of 30 years in service.
KC, an orthopedic surgeon, became popular after he launched fast onto death protesting the government intervention in medical science institution.
He has established a record of launching fast onto death for more than a dozen times.
