Kathmandu, 11 October: At least 10 people were killed and over 50 others injured when a passenger bus bound for Kathmandu skidded off the road and fell around 200 meters at Badahere Chowk of Bhotsipa in Indrawati rural municipality-10, Sindhupalchok, said the police. They died on the spot.
The death toll may increase as detail information of the accident is awaited, according to police. Many other passengers may have been crushed under the bus. Rescue efforts were about to take place with the help of a excavator.
