India’s former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj passed away in New Delhi on Tuesday night after suffering from a massive cardiac arrest, media reported.
Several senior leaders, including cabinet ministers and opposition leaders, reached the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where Swaraj breathed her last.
Sushma, who was born in 1952, served as external affairs minister in the first term of Narendra Modi government from 2014 to 2019.
