With over 16 Years of operation in Nepal, Flash Freight Logistics Pvt Ltd sees the critical importance for Nepal to have an adequate and effective Bulk Logistic service to facilitate trade. Recognizing robust logistic infrastructures, storage facilities and transport management as prerequisites for Nepal to reduce costs of logistics; Flash Freight joined hands with India’s No.1 port operator JM Baxi group a 100 Year old group company predominantly working in Bulk & Container Handling, Port Operations and Shipping. JM Baxi has its Port Operations at Vizag Container Terminal, Haldia, Rozi, Paradip, Mumbai & Delhi International Cargo Terminals. Together we proposed a Logistic Park with Rail linked Private Freight Terminal (PFT) to the Investment Board of Nepal, Government of Nepal. The project will inevitably play an important role in Nation Building.

The proposed Logistic Park is unique, and a first of its kind in Nepal, and can be considered as a National Development project and the backbone to the Nepal trade sector. The project will have a multiplier benefit to the production and consumption sectors. Commissioning of the proposed Private Freight Terminal will provide a quantum jump in rail capacity for transportation of freight traffic and will create a paradigm shift in the freight transport logistics and services. The commissioning of the project will revolutionize the freight movement scenario facilitating speedier & reliable services, providing impetus for industrial growth, and help diversify logistic options. The Private Freight Terminal will help in shifting traffic predominantly moving by road to rail, thereby significantly reducing costs and improving service quality with world-class logistics facilities. The envisaged project of TWO Dry Bulk Terminals at Birgunj & Bhairahawa is being set up with an investment of NPR 6.51Bn and will save a minimum of NPR 4.0Bn every year on import logistic costs, besides opening up new avenues for increasing exports and balancing the trade deficit with India.
