Actress-turned-politician Karishma Manandhar, who sat for SEE this year, says she plans to continue her studies at a government high school.
Manandhar, who came to Tribeni Community School to congratulate her classmates, said she wants to study at a government school to dispel the myth that only children of poor people study in government schools, according to Online Khabar.
“Teachers from Golden Gate College came to my house to offer me a place, but I declined,” she said adding that she plans to study management. Forty-five-year-old Manandhar scored a B+ grade (GPA 3) in this year’s SEE.
