Transport entrepreneurs have learnt to have spent millions of rupees to hike transportation fare. Under the influence of the transport entrepreneurs, the Transportation Management Department on Thursday had announced increment of transportation fare by 20 percent.
Earlier, during the Dasain festival, the government had increased 10 percent transportation fare. The Department, under the influence of millions of rupees, had increased the fare, however, after intervention from the Physical Infrastructure and Transportation Ministry, the decision was taken back, reports Naya Patrika daily.
