Police in Lalitpur district have arrested an Under Secretary after his teenage daughter filed a complaint that she was raped by her father repeatedly.
Police have not revealed the identity of the accused as it will also reveal the identity of the victim. However, it has been revealed that the accused is a 45-year-old undersecretary working at the Minsitry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport currently residing in Dhobighat of Lalitpur.
According to Police, the victim is a 12th grader at a local school and the suspect would tell the victim that father-daughter relationship was common in various countries and would force for her for copulation in his wife’s absence.
