Malaysian embassy active in reviving syndicate

Kathmandu, 11 May: The Malaysian embassy in Lalitpur is found to have actively involved in reviving the syndicate system that had duped Nepali migrant workers for several years.

The Charge d’Affairs   at the Malaysian embassy Ahamed Fadil Smile breaching all diplomatic norms and the labour agreement reached between Nepal and Malaysia, has circulated a letter to various recruiting agencies  stating that the same organizations will again conduct the ‘health check-up’ of the aspirant workers that were permitted by the Malaysian government, according to Naya Patrika daily.

He has been consistently exerting pressure on government of Nepal to abide by the rules set forth by the Malaysian mission and revive those agencies that had been handling  security check-up and health check-up matters that were found to be duping heavily the Nepali workers aspiring to go to Malaysia, reports the paper.
