Forest fire hits SW China

A forest fire broke out in the city of Kunming, capital of southwest China’s Yunnan Province Friday, local authorities said.

The fire erupted at around 6 p.m. on the Longchi Mountain, about 10 km away from the city center of Kunming.

More than 150 firefighters have been dispatched to the site.
