China is very active in Nepal recently. In comparison to past, political visit and trade activities are immensely deep in Nepal from China. Nepal has involved in One Belt One Road Initiative which bring 40% Chinese investment in Nepal. Chinese investment is rising in hydro-power, cement and infrastructure development sector specially. After the recent political transformation, 1484 Chinese company has registered in Nepal on the other hand Indian companies are only 735 and 92 countries has invested in Nepal. The data can prove China is half and the rest world another half in Nepal. It is clear that ordinary Nepalese people will get benefit from this and this will contribute to develop the Nepalese economic and trade sector’s development as well. Chinese aid, trade and diplomatic role are the wish of Nepalese people too, which is unconditional as well. Such activities will play vital role to bond the two countries stronger and united.
Recently, Indo-pacific Strategy is increasing actively in Nepal which hinders the relation and further co-operation between Nepal-China relations. Nepalese economy is poor and politically unstable. This will definitely affect the Nepal-China relation directly.
NGOs, those working for mutual Nepal-China relation are very active in public level. They are giving pressure to Nepalese government for China friendly and play important role to develop economic and trade development.
