All seven onboard, including tourism minister Adhikari, died in helicopter crash

Kathmandu, 27 February: All seven onboard confirmed dead in helicopter crash in Taplejung district today.

The rescue authorities have recovered dead bodies of all abroad in the ill-fated helicopter from the crash site.

Tourism Minister Rabindra Adhikari, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s Aide Yubraj Dahal, Yeti Air’s chairman Ang Tshering Sherpa, captain Prabhakar KC, minister Adhikari’s bodyguard Arjun Ghimire, deputy director general of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Birendra Shrestha and CAAN’s regional director Dhruba Das have been confirmed dead.

The Air Dynasty helicopter was crashed in between Linkhim and Phurumbu rural municipalities in Taplejung district, east Nepal.

The helicopter was flying towards Taplejung after inspecting an airport under construction in Chuhandanda in Terathum district this morning.
