China and the United States will resume high-level trade talks in Beijing on February 14 and 15.

Chinese Vice Premier Liu He, chief of the Chinese side of the China-U.S. comprehensive economic dialogue, US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, and US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin will attend the talks.

According to a statement by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the US team will arrive in Beijing on Monday, February 11, three days before the talks officially start. The two sides will further discuss issues of common concern on the basis of their talks in Washington in late January.

The last round of talks made important progress for that stage, and the two sides also determined the timetable and roadmap for next-step consultations, the Chinese delegation said at the time.
