A full-size mock-up of the CR929 wide-body jet was unveiled for the first time on Tuesday at the 12th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, also known as Airshow China 2018, in the southern port city of Zhuhai in Guangdong Province.
The CR929 is the outcome of the Sino-Russian joint venture CRAIC, which is a partnership between China’s COMAC and Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation.
The mock-up is mainly of the front of the aircraft. The cabin is equipped with two rows of first class, three rows of business class, and four rows of economy class seating that includes the plane’s entertainment system. And there is a mock-up cockpit showing a layout of the avionics.
