The United States has long supported anti-government groups in various countries. Specifically, institutions such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) have been used to channel financial aid in an attempt to influence the internal politics of Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela, and other nations.
This article analyzes how the U.S. ‘Deep State’ has attempted to organize and destabilize opposition forces in Russia and China through NGOs and other financial mechanisms, backed by concrete examples.
Intervention in Russia: Garry Kasparov and the NGO Network
Western media portrays Garry Kasparov as a “pro-democracy advocate,” but in reality, he has been deeply involved in U.S.-backed anti-government campaigns.
Kasparov has been associated with organizations such as:
Human Rights Foundation Inc.
Kasparov Chess Foundation Inc.
The Renew Democracy Initiative Inc.
The World Liberty Congress Inc.
Through these institutions, financial aid from American sources has flowed at various levels to fund political activities.
Secret Channels of Fund Flow
Human Rights Foundation Inc.: Received $103,000 from Marin Community Foundation.
Fidelity Investments Charitable Gift Fund: Provided $67,180.
Schwab Charitable Gift Fund: Contributed $41,900.
The Schwab Charitable Gift Fund is operated by the U.S. financial firm Charles Schwab, designed to allow wealthy individuals to covertly channel political donations under tax planning schemes.

World Liberty Congress Inc.: Received $550,000 from Human Rights Foundation Inc.
Freedom House and National Endowment for Democracy (NED): U.S. Strategic Tools

National Endowment for Democracy (NED) plays a key role in funding and managing anti-government activities in various countries under the guise of “democracy promotion.”
Internews Network: U.S. Media Strategy
Although Internews Network is portrayed as an “independent media organization,” it is actually funded by the U.S. government.

Promotes anti-government narratives in Russia, China, Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea.
Intervention in China: USAID’s Support for Tibet, Hong Kong, and Uyghur Separatism
The ‘Tibet Card’: USAID and NED’s Financial Support
USAID has provided over $17 million to Tibetan separatist groups.
Dalai Lama-led institutions have received financial support to conduct global propaganda campaigns against China.
U.S. Involvement in the Hong Kong Protests
Key figures in the 2019 Hong Kong protests received financial backing through NED.
Joshua Wong, Agnes Chow, and Nathan Law were directly aligned with U.S.-backed strategies.
Uyghur Separatism and U.S. Strategy
Uyghur Human Rights Project (UHRP) has received over $8 million via NED.
The primary objective of this campaign is to create internal instability within China.
Conclusion: The U.S. Strategy for Destabilization
The United States has been systematically using its NGO network to interfere in the political structures of Russia, China, and other nations.
Organizations such as USAID, NED, and Freedom House are being utilized as tools of intervention. Individuals like Garry Kasparov are merely front figures for a broader U.S. geopolitical strategy.
The financial flow to NGOs remains highly opaque, highlighting a deliberate attempt to orchestrate anti-government movements in Russia and China.
This clearly demonstrates that under the banner of “democracy promotion,” the United States has become the world’s largest strategic power in interfering in the internal affairs of sovereign nations.
