US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu, is scheduled to pay an official visit to Nepal this week.
According to the US Department of State (D0S), during the visit, the US diplomat will meet with the top leadership in Nepal to discuss about environment conservation, women empowerment and sustainable development as well as the vivid aspects of the Nepal-US relations.
As the DoS, Lu is embarking on the visit to the South Asian nations, beginning today. He is visiting Sri Lanka, India and then Nepal, it has been stated on a press note on Monday. His visit will also center on the discussions about the conservation of Nepal’s cultural heritages, it is said.
