{"id":65167,"date":"2022-06-17T10:35:26","date_gmt":"2022-06-17T10:35:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eng.danfetv.com\/?p=65167"},"modified":"2022-06-17T10:35:26","modified_gmt":"2022-06-17T10:35:26","slug":"the-parliamentary-committee-seeks-spp-related-documents-from-the-government-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eng.danfetv.com\/?p=65167","title":{"rendered":"The parliamentary committee seeks SPP-related documents from the government"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Kathmandu, June 17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The House of Representatives International Relations Committee (IRC) has requested<br \/>\ndocuments related to the United States\u2019 State Partnership Program (SPP) from the government.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the parliamentary committee met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Narayan<br \/>\nKhadka, Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Prabhuram Sharma, Ministry of Defense Secretary Kiran Sharma, and others to discuss the SPP.<\/p>\n<p>The IRC directed the government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide it with the<br \/>\nrelevant documents following the discussions.<\/p>\n<p>Pabitra Niraula Kharel, the IRC\u2019s Chairperson, also warned the government against joining any military or strategic alliance that goes against the country\u2019s foreign policy.<\/p>\n<p>The IRC has also asked that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba present before the committee on Sunday to inform the committee about his upcoming visit to the United States and the SPP.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, June 17 The House of Representatives International Relations Committee (IRC) has requested documents related to the United States\u2019 State Partnership Program (SPP) from the government.
