{"id":62444,"date":"2022-04-24T07:13:03","date_gmt":"2022-04-24T07:13:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eng.danfetv.com\/?p=62444"},"modified":"2022-04-24T07:13:03","modified_gmt":"2022-04-24T07:13:03","slug":"28-54-billion-more-gold-imports-in-nine-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eng.danfetv.com\/?p=62444","title":{"rendered":"28.54 billion more gold imports in nine months"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Karuna Thapa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kathmandu, April 24<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More than 28.54 billion Nepali rupees have gone out of the nation for gold imports in the first nine months of the current fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Customs Department, Rs. 28.54 billion was exported from Nepal for gold<br \/>\nimport in the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2078\/79.<\/p>\n<p>In the last nine months, the country has imported more than 4,000 kg of gold, according to<br \/>\nfigures. The government has received Rs 3.48 billion in income from gold imports.<\/p>\n<p>Gold is mostly imported into Nepal from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Turkey, according to public records. The UAE imported the most gold in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, according to the department.<\/p>\n<p>For the import of 32.33 million kilos of gold from the UAE, the government has received Rs<br \/>\n22.62 billion, whereas the government has received Rs 2.748 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Following the UAE, Turkey imported 8,61,500 kilos of gold worth Rs 5.92 billion.
