The Education and Health Committee of the House of Representatives has passed the Yogamaya Ayurveda University Bill, 2076.The committee meeting held on Tuesday at Singh Darbar discussed the bill and passed it.
In the meeting, the parliamentarians emphasized the need to be clear about the nature of the university, organizational structure, investment, etc.
Education Science and Technology Minister Devendra Poudel said that he will try to address the suggestions made on the bill. He said that after finalizing the bill, it will be passed in the current session itself.
The government has introduced the Yogamaya Ayurveda University Bill to develop Ayurveda education according to the national identity and needs and organize education related to Ayurveda education.
