Karki, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, is back today.

Kathmandu, June 11

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has
returned home after attending the International Telecommunication Union’s World
Telecommunication Development Conference in Kigali, Rwanda.

After attending the conference, Minister Karki returned home on Saturday afternoon. Minister Karki stated that the government has declared its determination to make communications available to all Nepalis by 2025 BS despite numerous difficulties during a news briefing at the Tribhuvan International Airport after returning home.

He stated that he will continue to work to ensure that Nepalis benefit from modern
communication technologies. Minister Karki added that during his travel, he met with
counterparts from other countries and expressed goodwill for Nepal.

Minister Karki had traveled for the summit on June 3, followed by a Nepali team.
