Kathmandu, June 3
Today’s weather is expected to be cloudy in most parts of the country, with light to medium
rainfall and thunderstorms in some parts.
According to the Meteorological Forecast Division of the Department of Hydrology and
Meteorology, some places of Province 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Madhesh
Province in the country are likely to receive light to moderate rainfalls coupled with storms,
thunderstorms, and lightning due to local wind. and low pressure line spread from Uttar
Pradesh of India to Bangladesh.
Currently, light rain falls in some parts of Province 1, and the weather in Province 1, Madhesh Province, and Bagmati Province is cloudy.
The department has cautioned locals to apply safety measures as light to moderate rainfall is likely with thunderstorms and heavy storms in some parts of Province 1, Madhesh Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.
According to the Department, the Kathmandu Valley recorded a minimum 18.5 degree Celsius temperature in the past 24 hours while the maximum temperature was 31.2 degree Celsius.
