Communist unification is not possible: Chairman Nepal

Kathmandu, June 2

Madhav Kumar Nepal, the Chairperson of the Unified Socialist Party, has ruled out the
possibility of communist unification at present.

He said at a program in Surkhet that reports of an alliance between the CPN-UML, the Maoist Center, and the Unified Socialist are false.

“Egoists and conspirators have circulated many types of rumors in a bid to break the existing communist democratic alliance. We are not hungry for any position. We can cut through such rumors,” he said.

Reviewing the local level election results, he said that the current alliance would be continued till the upcoming state and House of Representatives elections.
