Kathmandu, May 23
Gopal Hamal, the newly elected Mayor of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis, has entered office. On
Monday, Chief Election Officer Jayananda Paneru took the oath of office and secrecy at Kailali’s District Court.
Hamal took office after proposing a proposal for a five-year periodical plan for Dhangadhi.
The first five-year periodical plan for the next Fiscal Year 2079/80 to 2083/84 would be designed and implemented, according to the proposal given by Chief Administrative Officer Ram Lal Shrestha to Hamal. The procedural work, on the other hand, will begin in the current fiscal year.
Mayor Hamal told reporters shortly after assuming office that the first five-year periodical plan for Dhangadhi’s growth will be created. According to Hamal, the development work will go according to schedule.
