Kathmandu, May 18
CPN-UML candidates Karna Bahadur Bantha Magar and Lekhmani Dangi have been elected as the chairman and vice-chairman in Triveni Rural Municipality of Rolpa respectively.
In Triveni, Bantha Magar has been elected as chairman with 5085 votes after Congress and UML formed an alliance against the CPN-Maoist Center.
Lekhmani Dangi of the Nepali Congress has been elected as vice-chairman with 4576 votes.
Earlier, UML had won both the chairman and vice-chairman.
