On March 8, Buddha Air will give books to 2500 passengers in honor of International Women’s Day.
The corporation has begun giving away books written by women writers as gifts to flight
travelers in partnership with Sangrila Books. According to Dipendra Karna, the company’s communications officer, the first 2500 passengers will receive such gifts on this day.
”We alone have almost 8,000 passengers,” he added, adding that the present would be given to the first 2,500 people departing from Kathmandu airport.
This will cost the corporation Rs 1 million. All male and female passengers will receive gifts. The book will be written by a variety of authors.
